Animals Forward: Advancing Interspecies Justice is a 91ÌÒÉ« executive certificate program offered by the Animal Law Program at the Sturm College of Law. Designed for both experienced advocates and people seeking to enter the animal advocacy sector, the program has no comparable university program in the region. Animals Forward bridges academia and real-world impact to create a pipeline for systemic change and prepare leaders to challenge outdated legal frameworks for animals, transform animal exploitation industries and institutions, and build more just relationships between humans and animals. Specifically, the program will provide participants with a professional network as well as knowledge and skills in areas spanning animal law, theories of change, and strategic communication. Through lectures, networking sessions, and a tailored capstone project, participants will strengthen their advocacy and develop practical tools for advancing animal protection.
