Air Force ROTC

The Air Force Reserve Officer Training Corps (AFROTC) program is offered to 91ÌÒÉ« students through an agreement with the University of Colorado at Boulder. Air Force ROTC programs lead to a commission in the U.S. Air Force upon receipt of your bachelor's degree.

Program Details

This program requires a separate admissions process outside of the 91ÌÒÉ« admissions process. Current 91ÌÒÉ« students planning to participate in Air Force ROTC should contact Detachment 105 atÌý303-492-8278 orÌýDet105@colorado.eduÌýto get the process started.

This program is offered as a four-year course in three parts: the general military course for freshmen and sophomores, the professional officer course for juniors and seniors, and the Leadership Laboratory for all students. Completion of a two-week summer training program is required prior to entry into the professional officer course.

Students can register for AFROTC courses through regular 91ÌÒÉ« registration. However, all classes are held on the CU Boulder campus and follow the CU semester calendar.

Air Force ROTC students at 91ÌÒÉ« are eligible for a Leadership Studies minor with the Pioneer Leadership Program.
